A letter to Europe

From October 25th to 31st 2009 sixtyfour young Europeans from Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, Spain, Croatia and Germany came to the Europe House Marienberg for an international youth seminar with the motto:

Active Democracy – politics need engagement:
A letter to Europe – Europe can you hear me? „Plaintext: Europe and the Youth!!!“

They experienced one week of active citizenship, intercultural learning and political engagement.

The product of this European seminar is "A letter to Europe" where they express their concerns, their wishes and also their solutions for a better future. The letter was sent to the European Parliament as well as to the European Commisssion and will also be forwarded to the youth ministries of the six participating countries.

Being active was a very crucial experience for the participants
but they also hope to get replies to the letter.
