The European competition "Europe at School":
The Europe House Marienberg is for decades a partner of the European competition "Europe at School".
"Europe at School" is for many many years a unique European-wide transnational initiative on the field of European education.
The European competition is in Germany under the patronage of the German Federal President. On European level there is a joint patronage of the Council of Europe, the European Commission, the European Parliament and the European Cultural Foundation (Amsterdam).

The European competition deals both with topics which are very important for the Council of Europe and the European Commission and which have a high relevance for the process of European integration itself: education for democracy and tolerance, the observance of human and civil rights, the protection of minorities and the preservation of European culture and civil society and strengthening multicultural learning.
Top prices which are distributed in the category of 16+ years participants are invitations to European Youth Gatherings in Germany and other European countries. Exchange and meeting with other prizewinners from the other European countries in which the European competion is coevally realised are the priority. The multinational youth gatherings will be held each year in the summer month in different European states. They last for about ten days which are filled with discussions and workshops and also with a lot of fun and leisure activities.
