About us
The EHM is the first Europe House ever and therefore the oldest one in whole Europe (founded 1951).
Up to 130 comparable institutions in almost thirty European countries have been established since then. The EHM is an international non-formal education centre. It is a non-profit NGO and not committed to any political parties or religion. As a platform for the European dialogue the EHM realises every year up to 130 conferences, seminars and gatherings about European topics. One focal point is the European youth education, strategically formulated in the European youth concept „think europe".
The EHM is a public foundation with a top-class advisory-board, council and executive board. Through national and international networks and umbrella organisations the EHM is within the sector of non-formal education strategically and content-related very well positioned.
